This is a tutorial for the blind hand grab also known as the body spiral. It is a spin on a static pole. While I still feel that many spins are dangerous on untrained shoulders typically the spins I teach and incorporate into my practice are not as taxing on my shoulders. As everyone is different please listen to your body. At no time during filming of these tutorials did my shoulders start to hurt. If you experience pain while working out stop immediately and either move on to another portion of your workout or call it a day and ice the effected area depending on your degree of discomfort. Always listen if/when you experience pain.
