I didn't really use a spin pole until 10 years after I'd started pole dancing and chopper is one of the 1st moves I learned. One time I was in a distant studio and I was on the only pole on spin mode in the class. When we did chopper someone told me mine was great and I was like yeah it's a spinning pole, not realizing some people called a static inverted V a chopper. I always thought it had to spin to be a chopper. For best results don't use grip aid but if you have other things in your routine that require dry, grippy hands you may get the same sputter as in the video. You have to decide what is most important to you. I always used chopper as a way to get to the floor for floor work. Private lessons available text 410 868 7957 for details.
