The lay-back leads to many other moves as well as being a beautiful up-side down pole hold. It took me 18 months, from the time I first wrapped my body around a vertical metal cylinder, to be able to do this move. I tried it straight leg the very first time. Don't do that to yourself. Work up to straight leg. Figure four is a lot easier on the skin than straight leg because it puts the pressure point closer to the knee rather than the inner thigh. Please do not do this move in leg warmers, socks, or pants that are not specifically designed to stick on the pole. |
