I have had my right and left splits for over 10 years but when it came to my middle splits I always fell short. I never spent the time I needed to on them to make them happen. For one thing I was focused on the wrong muscles. While there are some of the same muscles used for all splits for the most part the middle split muscles are completely separate from the front-to-back splits. This meant that working front-to-back splits was doing nothing for my middle splits. I finally listened to what I'd read many times. Splits are about strengthening your muscles at the end of your range of motion. It doesn't matter how far your range is, take it to the end and strengthen there. Safely. This video is a result of six months of progress of a new stretching program. It is progress in chronological order only, no background moves; those will come in another video. I give private lessons (stretch, pole dance, and general fitness) text or call 410 868 7957 for more information or the messenger icon on every page will send a DM through messenger app.
