This move is relatively new in the pole community. It was practically made for spinning pole as it's the definition of "get into position and hold on." It's one that will look better on a spinning pole because of the different angles in the hold. The elbow is holding you on but keep that leg bent around that pole in a hamstring curl position anyway, it will make you feel more secure.
