This move is a staple for stage performance. It is more about sitting on your arm/wrist than smashing your leg against the pole, however if anything is to be pushed into the pole make sure it is your leg. The top hand is the most important, be sure to grip well. Before you try to pull your bottom hand off the pole it is helpful to pull your body back in towards the pole with your top hand to alleviate some of the pressure on the bottom hand. This will make it much easier to get the hand out of the way. |
